·         This is the first (1) assessment task you must successfully complete to be deemed competent in this unit of competency.

·         The Knowledge Test is comprised of seven (7) written questions

·         You must respond to all questions and submit them to your Trainer/Assessor.

·         You must answer all questions to the required level, e.g. provide an answer within the required word limit, to be deemed satisfactory in this task.

 

Applicable conditions:
·         All knowledge tests are untimed and are conducted as open bookassessment (this means you can refer to your textbook during the test).

·         You must read and respond to all questions.

·         You may handwrite/use a computer to answer the questions.

·         You must complete the task independently.

·         No marks or grades are allocated for this assessment task. The outcome of the task will be Satisfactory or Not Satisfactory.

·         As you complete this assessment task, you are predominately demonstrating your written skills and knowledge to your trainer/assessor.

 

Resubmissions and reattempts:

·         Complete a written assessment consisting of a series of questions.

·         You will be required to answer all the questions correctly.

·         Do not start answering questions without understanding what is required. Read the questions carefully and critically analyse them for a few seconds; this will help you to identify what information is needed in the answer.

·         Your answers must demonstrate an understanding and application of the relevant concepts and critical thinking.

·         Be concise, to the point and write answers within the word-limit given to each question. Do not provide irrelevant information. Remember, quantity is not quality.

·         You must write your responses in your own words.

This assessment task is designed to evaluate student’s knowledge essential to contribute to organisational performance development in a range of contexts and industry settings and knowledge regarding the following:

·         Knowledge of the organisational performance development program design principles

·         Knowledge of the roles in an organisational performance development

·         Knowledge of the legislation and organisational policies relevant to organisational performance development, including confidentiality and privacy requirements

·         Knowledge of the key methods for evaluating and reporting on organisational performance development programs..

 

Task instructions
·         This is an individual assessment.

·         To ensure your responses are satisfactory, consult a range of learning resources and other information such as handouts, textbooks, learner resources etc.

·         There are twelve (12) written questions in this assessment pack.

·         The student must attempt all questions.

Project Overview

The aim of this workplace assessment is to assess the learner’s practical knowledge and skills in:

  • Assisting team members develop work goals.
  • Facilitating access to personal and professional development activities.
  • Using technology to prioritise work tasks.
  • Identifying techniques to manage team health and wellbeing.
  • Identifying development needs.
  • Participating in personal and professional development activities.

This workplace project assessment requires you to:

  • Develop and implement a plan for own personal and professional development.
  • Manage personal and professional development of at least two other individuals.

This assessment is divided into six tasks:

  • Task 1: Assist Team Member Development of Work Goals
  • Task 2 Facilitate Access to Personal and Professional Development Opportunities
  • Task 3: Technology to Prioritise Work Tasks
  • Task 4: Techniques to Manage Team Health and Wellbeing

Bounce fitness is an organization that focuses on providing excellent services related to dynamic fitness and focuses on establishing itself as a no. one fitness provider.

First, we will have to create a visionThis is the most important thing because it is very important for an organization to first visualize a vision organization so that the futuristic goals can be achieved accordingly. A company should visualize its targets, and profits and look for further improvement in the organization. It helps the company to make plans to achieve its goal.

Develop a plan – To achieve something it is very important to make a plan because it provides proper direction that a company has to follow throughout the process. It makes the process easier.

Timely track team progress – It is very important to track the progress of team members because if their performance will get affected then the performance of the company will also get affected.

It is very important for a team to continuously progress because by giving better performance the satisfaction of the customers increases and the company starts to grow accordingly.

Review plan with other team members – Frequently reviewing the plan is very important because when we discuss it with others it might be possible that other team members to give some valuable feedbacks that can make the task easier and achievable. And safeguards you from a potential hazard.

 

Organizational goals:

Bounce fitness is an organization that focuses on providing excellent services related to dynamic fitness and focuses on establishing itself as a no. one fitness provider (Hák, et al., 2016).

The primary goal of the organization is to achieve the satisfaction of the customer. Increase the penetration in the market, increase its sales, and generate an increase in sales up to 10% per year.

Business plan – The main focus of bounce fitness is to generate attendance through advertisement, right now focusing on training, enhancement in health, and meeting the key objectives of the business (Hák, et al., 2016).

 

Strategic plan – the focus on attracting the invoice users of the internet by training and educating a loyal customer base.

They focus on building a social environment and providing entertainment to the customers.

They use the power of the internet to attract users on the internet who how are excited and determined about fitness (Fleming, et al., 2017).

Operational plan –

The organization focuses on gathering feedback from surveys and the log forms

They focus on reviewing information collected from user logs and surveys.

Make a plan to achieve their goals so that they know what to do be done and how.

After this, they start taking action for the implementation of the plan and set a time frame accordingly.

At last, they review the implementation of the plan, policy, and work procedure (Fleming, et al., 2017).

They have to consider the safety and well-being of the customers and develop their performance accordingly.

They focus on developing a relationship with the customers so that they feel comfortable and safe.

Trello is widely used in the company to recognize the tasks and performance of the employees, it is a very efficient task tracker tool. It provides a clean image of several projects that you need to track over time (Bhandari, et al., 2019).

Another tool that can be used to track the task is “The task app”. Launched by the Microsoft.

A user can access the tasks in the app on the left side of the team and can be used as a tab within the channel of individual teams (Colbert, et al., 2016).

It is a very nice tool because it helps to track multiple projects at the same time and provides a clear picture of progress, deadline, work duration, etc. It creates an efficient and productive work environment (Bhandari, et al., 2019).
