Introduction

Apple inc. is the American multinational technology company that deals in developing, manufacturing and selling consumer electronics and information technology product. The Apple brand is a well-published brand not only in America but globally it is being urged by a consumer. They adhered toward technological advancement, quality and material to develop the phone. As in the current advertisement for apple, they show the iPhone quality and phone strength. The factor for establishing the recurring strategy relies on the internal and external environment of the company. With the use of SWOT analysis and pest analysis, these environments can be analysed. By using other strategies that are (micro, macro and industrial analysis) an organisation can understand the industry market and supported environment that affects the apple inc. business. Hence, in the following assessment, we can constitute all this matter and describe how these factors affect the business strategy of Apple inc.

Apple current strategy

Apple inc. current strategy that has been lies upon the product development, differentiating their product and services on the provision of seamless experiences. They also urged toward empowering users to produce its best. Apple inc. always focuses on creation and innovation in their products so that they will deliver a different and great experience to their customer.  Every year Apple launches a series of iPhone, iPod, personal computer etc. They try to make this product different from their previous distribution.  Apple inc. proactive toward customer loyalty by facilitating their efficient services for their customer. Apple inc. also, an emphasis on changing their model and structure of the previous computer and phones with focuses upon minimalism cleans lines and solid tones. Hence, these are strategies that have been followed by Apple inc.

Macro environmental analysis

Macro environment covered social-cultural, technological, economic, political and legal factor that eventually affect the Apple inc. strategy and market. So, to understand these factor that is not in the control of the company macro environment analysis is being required (Vallati & Grassi, 2019).

PESTLE analysis

Political

The political factor that affects Apple inc. is government regulation and other organisation obligation and argument. Through this analysis, a company can manage to grab opportunities such as free trade and can evaluate a threat that can be dues to any disputes and government interference.

The economical factor that affects apple inc. can be due to the implication of economic instability, changes in the economy of the developing countries, increases and decrease in income of the target customer will impact the sale of Apple inc.

Social-cultural

The socio-cultural factors that affect Apple inc. the market is an increase and decrease in demand for mobile and iPhone use. Increasing in digital system dependence. These are a socio-cultural environment that affects Apple inc.

The technological factors that affect Apple inc. is an increasing demand for cloud computing, increase in the mobile market and increasing technological integration with businesses.

The legal factor that affects the market is increasing privacy regulation and increasing policies framework and strictness.

The environment factor that affects the market will be business sustainability and energy efficiency trend

Apple is in competitive rivalry with other hardware and software industry that is google, Microsoft, Samsung etc. Hence, according to this analysis competitive market of Apple inc. is very active and high.

Bargaining power of the buyer

The bargaining power of the buyer is low in case of Apple inc product. Apple produces all product in competitive prices that can be low and high as according to market forces, not individual bargaining, but it affects company business as if any customer has been losing by the company.

Bargaining power of supplier

The bargaining power of supplier is very low in this industry. Apple inc. provide a standard price to their supplier for distribution and production of iPhone and other product.

New entrant threat

The new entrant threat in this industry is relatively low and does not affect Apple inc. market very much. As the company is already established in the market it is irreplaceable from the mind of the customer.

Threat of substitute

The threat of substitute is moderate in this industry. A company is also ahead before any company can replace their product, they do make a change before it can replace by other company (Apple inc. 2021).

Micro Environmental Analysis

Microenvironment analysis depicts that apple internal and microenvironment is constituted of their employee, supplier, competitors and physical resources that need to analyse for better and smooth working. Apple inc. an employee is working toward accomplishing the target of the company the chamber of an employee is based on technological and management experts. The competitor that affects company market is google, Microsoft and other mobile phone companies. The physical resources that have been used are equipment for checking temperature, material for developing strong hardware and software (Business Strategy Hub. 2021).

Value chain analysis

The value chain analysis illustrates that Apple inc. value chain constitutes of sourcing, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution ad return. These are the steps that have been followed and strategies to reach the end-user of the company (Apple inc.  2021).

The strategy that is appropriate for the apple would be a technological and economical standardisation strategy. As this strategy contributed to an increase in the market expansion and growth of the company as well as an increase in the revenue of the company. It also gathered innovation and technological advancement that deliver greater experience and create newness for a customer. As apple engages in the diversified product market. By segmenting the market and differentiating the product for each other will leads to increase in the proactive buyer of the company. Apple inc. should engage in trends and preference of customer that would lead to an increase in the standard and increase in a potential customer of the company.

Reflection

For the reflective purpose, the model that has been used is Kolbe reflection model as it leads to depict own learning and experiences throughout the process. In the followed process we can analyse the new outcome and evaluate the action and activity that is suitable for a clear perspective toward strategic outlay.

Application of model that can be depicted in terms of Apple inc. analysis and evaluation. Firstly, leads to implicate the learning experience out of the followed topic, group learning experience and what action and researched required for analysing Apple inc.  By using this model, I can initiate new learning that has been gathered (Morris, 2020).

The learning experience with the group is very coordinative and effortless.  While working with the group it is necessary to choose one leader that gives direction to group member coordinatively and embed completeness and reduce misunderstanding. The leader has profoundly done their jobs and execute learning efficiently that leads to framing new ideas, clearing all doubts and converting curiosity into discovery.

The topic that I liked the most in the followed section is doing SWOT analysis as it covered all internal factors and aspects. SWOT analysis can help in managing the lacking and misconception. It leads to demonstrate a better strategy for the internal management of the company. It also helps in accessing an opportunity that is good for the business. With the use of SWOT analysis, we can analyse the threat that affects Apple market structure. Hence, it is a very interesting topic to learn and understand. This section is being improved through active research, discussion within the team and learning individual aspect toward the same (Subject, 2020).

The topic that I like to learn more is about the development of strategy and how the internal and external factors affect the level of business in the future market. There are the things that need to know what are measured that are used to demonstrate the future market of company and business.

The recommendation that has been illustrated for another group member would be better engagement, be active and coordinative while working within a team. The member should punctual and respect time value. It has been advised that do discussion whenever required and clear misunderstand that leads to conflict. For better learning experience it is necessary to do teamwork and flow of communication effectively. Hence, these are the recommendation that proposes to the other group member for efficient and effective learning (Morris, 2020).
