Difference Between Breathing and Respiration

monitoring, etc. Simply put, energy is accumulated through the chemical process known as
respiration. All living things, including plants and animals, have cells that behave in this way.

respiratory process. In order to produce additional water and carbon dioxide during aerobic
respiration, oxygen and glucose are required. When we engage in strenuous exercises, such as

muscles are relaxed, and the rib cage can stay in its resting position when the intercostal
muscles are relaxed. The thoracic cavity’s volume decreases.

breathing oxygen is used in the process.
