Stage 1: Forming – It is the system of mainly putting the framework of the team significantly together.

Stage 2: Storming – This stage starts to happen as the system of organizing the surface of processes and tasks interpersonal disputes.

Stage 3: Norming – In this, members of teams create innovative ways of being and doing work together.

Stage 4: Performing – In this stage, individuals could work freely, in subdivisions or as a total unit with similar competencies.

Stage 5: Adjourning – In this, members of the team are prepared for leaving causing substantial changes to the structure of the team and its purpose of team (Schechner, 2017).

Group dynamics is the social method by which individuals behave and interact in the group environment. Group dynamics include the impacts of behaviour, power and personality on the process of the group.

Team Performance Project Plan

The context of the team’s existence

It has been advised by the manager through email to form the part of mainly one of the teams within the project of re-branding. A manager of the project has also been appointed and the briefing of the project will be attended by all the members and managers of the project for the first time. Three project members are there named Ashley, Bailey and Sam (Danet, 2020).

Profile of each member of the team

Ashley has expertise in the function and field of marketing he had no interest in IT or finance, whereas Bailey and Sam were from the field of finance with Jamie and the whole team was going to work closely for the upcoming three months for the project of re-branding. As the team was introduced, the group was particularly drawn from around the complete business, involving all representatives from logistics, human resources, sales, consumer service, marketing and finance (Danet, 2020).

Purpose of the team

Here, the purpose of the teams is to conduct the project of re-branding. The teams are formed to implement the project of re-branding with full efficiency and effectiveness. As the members of the team were introduced the group was mainly drawn from around the whole business, including all the representatives from each department (Shewan, et al., 2018).

Set of processes, procedures and policies for the team that covers:

Responsibilities and roles for work roles for each member of the team

Ashley’s role was to perform the project marketing and promotion as he has expertise in the field of marketing functions. He has been given the responsibility to frame effective marketing strategies for the project of re-branding. Whereas, Sam and Bailey’s work role was within the finance department of the project. They work within the same team along with Jamie (Shewan, et al., 2018).

Expected team standards and behaviours

The expected team standards and behaviours that were expected by the organization were commitment to the project, confidence, accountability in the project, trust and honesty towards team members and the project manager. The team members should treat other members with respect and dignity. They should promote and support internal departmental teamwork. They must consider and understand the impacts and needs of their work on main others (Pettinger, 2020).

Methods of communication

The methods of communication that are used in this project of re-branding include face-to-face meetings and interactive communication with the members of the team. For this, the meetings should be conducted regularly or frequently to discuss the progress of the project and also to discuss the performance of each member of the team (Pettinger, 2020).

Profile of behaviours of team members

The behaviour of team members was not good in the meeting as Ashley start to groan so the manager of the project called the break of 10 minutes and then groaning started increasing and also eyes of others were also rolling. The members start to look irritated and worried as the enthusiasm among the team members was decreasing. The members should attitude and rudeness in the meeting and others were worried to see these kinds of behaviours from the members of the team (Eckstein, 2015).

Address any concerns, issues or problems regarding the performance of work

The following things can be done to address the concerns, issues or problems regarding the performance of work and these are given below:

  1. Keep the issues and concerns unemotional, factual and specific
  2. Don’t take the issues and concerns personal
  3. Outline an effective action plan to mitigate the issues
  4. Document each concern and issues
  5. Follow the strategies mentioned in the action plan (Eckstein, 2015).

The input the members of the team will have

The input that the members will have regarding planning, operations, and decision-making for the work team will mainly include the following:

  1. Objectives, goals and vision of the project
  2. Key performance indicators of the project
  3. Time structure for attaining the objectives and goals
  4. Observations and expectations of the manager of the project (Atik, 2020).

Proposed system or method of feedback

The proposed system and method of feedback for rewarding, valuing and encouraging both individuals and also the contributions and efforts of the team are given below:

  1. Positive and constructive feedback will be provided
  2. Measurable and specific areas in which they could enhance will be given to the members of the project team
  3. Trusting relations will be developed with the team members
  4. Accurate questions will be asked to the members to increase their interest in the activities of the project
  5. Time-to-time reviews will be given regarding the performance of the work of the project team members (Atik, 2020).

Conflict resolution and action process

The following process of conflict action and resolution will be followed by every member of the team in the situation of any unresolved problems, concerns or issues:

  1. Firstly the issue or concern will be defined by the members of the team
  2. Then the manager will try to communicate with the members of the team and make them communicate with each other
  3. The manager will try to develop team relations
  4. Then he will establish the action plan
  5. In the end he will give constructive feedback to each member of the team (Ohnos, 2021).

  2. Bailey – For the formal opportunity of learning he should attend sessions of training at the workplace. For the informal opportunity of learning, he should do activities of team building that will help him to know how one should work in a team (Åström & Murray, 2021).
  3. Ashley – For the formal opportunity of learning he should attend workshops on the organization. For the informal opportunity of learning, he should online videos related to marketing that will help in gaining skills and knowledge regarding marketing (Åström & Murray, 2021).

Project manager & manager – But this behaviour of yours is not good as you all are working in a team and should make decorum of the teamwork and should follow all the guidelines.

Team members – Next time we will not behave like this and maintain the decorum.

Project manager & manager – Okay then next time you should follow all guidelines and I will not tolerate any irrelevant behaviour from you all.
