Question 1

Three ways that could be utilized for collecting information are given below:

  1. One should observe all non-verbal feedback mainly during the presentation
  2. Pay all attention to entire questions during the presentation
  3. Collect intelligence during, after and also before breaks.

The information will be used for reviewing the presentation by mainly focusing on and considering the description instead of giving justice to the presenter and then essential points will be taken from that information (Goffman, 2021).

The topic of the presentation is Operational Managers in the organization. In this presentation, key responsibilities and roles of the Operational Manager, key skills needed for accomplishing the task by the Operational Manager, needs for training, average salaries and outlook of job in Australia and also overseas will be provided as the content (Korsgaard, 2018).

Key concepts and ideas

What will be the key concepts and ideas that you will emphasise at strategic points during the presentation e.g. in the introduction, during the presentation and in conclusion.

The key ideas and concepts that will be emphasized mainly at the strategic points during the presentation include:

In the introduction, a work overview and definition of the Operational Manager will be given. Then during the presentation, key roles and responsibilities of the Operational Manager will be discussed and also skills needed by the operational manager will also be discussed. Then in the conclusion, the overall performance of the operations manager will be discussed.

Purpose of presentation

Briefly explain the purpose of your presentation

The purpose of the presentation is to give knowledge to the individuals regarding the importance of the operational manager in the organization (Korsgaard, 2018).

The desired outcome from the presentation

Explain what you hope to achieve from the presentation.

The desired outcome from the presentation is that many people have knowledge regarding the importance of the operational manager in the organization and how they perform their activities effectively in the organization.

The techniques of persuasive communication will be utilized to make sure the interest of the audience is given below:

2. Be authentic and descriptive

3. Convey the message via emotional language (Hoye, et al., 2018).

Briefing others on roles and responsibilities within the presentation, For example, state the information that will be provided to person’s assisting with the presentation e.g. presentation helper will have the role and responsibility to hand out materials.

The responsibilities and roles will be conveyed by the helper of the presentation by giving the handout materials at the end of the presentation. Within the presentation also the roles and responsibilities will be discussed by the opener of the presentation (Imaniah, 2018).
