Project Management Approach/Methodology

The project Management Approach and Methodology that has been selected here for monitoring the quality of all the activities that are conducted, The feedback will be collected from the customers and members who have taken the training and identify the areas of improvement as well as to measure the quality of the performance of all the instructors who are providing the fitness training to the members. Data have been analyzed from the data that has been collected by taking the feedback and analyze that what members have taken the membership and whether they want to renew that membership or not.

The quality will be monitored by the feedback taken from the memberships and they will provide that which instructor is providing the best fitness training and whether they are using which type of equipment or not. The methodology that has been selected for the project management is collecting the primary data as well as collecting the secondary data for the planning of the project.

Primary data will be more preferred in the project proposal for the research and the survey will be conducted in which the google forms will be distributed to all the customers and clients as well as members who have taken the memberships in the previous time, as well as have the memberships in the current time and that data will be analyzed for the measurement of customer satisfaction. Also, influence the customers and clients to renew their memberships, and they get the proper fitness training and help them to achieve their fitness goals.

Secondary data that can be used which states that Qualitative methodology will be considered in the online fitness gym for analyzing the performance and collecting the information from the different sources that how to make the online fitness gym better which can assist them to attract more customers and increase the customer base as well as increase the revenue and settle the loss that has been generated.

Online Aspect of Working, Planning, and Managing the IT Project

It is very important for planning in the IT project and ensure that proper planning will be done, and it leads to managing all the projects, planning all the tasks and activities will be conducted in an online manner. Planning of all the resources will be done and a procurement strategy will be prepared in which it will be stated how all the resources are procured, and online sessions will be conducted with the members who have taken the online memberships for their health and fitness training.

IT Risks

IT risks can also be incurred such as technical issues can be incurred in which all the customers and members have reported the complaint that one instructor has some server issues they are facing, and it leads to a decrease in the reputation of the online fitness gym (Afreen, et al., 2021).

Another risk on the online fitness gym that is related to the technology is resources are not used properly and training is not given to the instructors that how they have to use the online technology for providing the training, and it leads to customer dissatisfaction because if the instructor is not able to use the online desktop in front of its members and fitness clients, then it will be directly impacting on the reputation of the company.

 Final Documentation

  1. Impacts and Triple constraints
Particulars Time Cost Quality
Budget Reduction Activities will be reduced due to which time will be saved (Alaidaros & Omar, 2017). The cost will be saved and expenses will be reduced. Quality will be maintained in the activities.
Management change All the work is completed on time. The unwanted cost of the business will be saved. All the employees follow the quality standards in the work.
Outsourcing All the work is completed on time and the company also achieves their targets within a period. The cost of the business will be increases but the cost of other expenses will be reduced. All the work is done according to the quality (Vanhoucke, 2012).

Scope

Online gym platforms want to establish a new setup in the organization to provide the best physical training to the customers through the online process. If the budget of the project will be reduced then the company can’t able to purchase the new technologies and equipment to provide the best physical training to the customers.

If the online gym platform implements the new changes in the organization related to providing the best training to the customers, then the company may achieve their goals easily without facing problems.

If an online gym platform outsources the new well-skilled external stakeholders, then the company can easily run their business for the long term in the existing competitive market.

Quality

If the Online gym platform reducesthe budget and cost of the project then the quality will be not maintained in the services because the company need to purchase the best quality resources to provide the best services to the customers.

If the online gym platformsimplement the new changes in the workplace, then the quality will be not maintained in the services because the employees not easily accept or adopt the new changes.

If the online gym platform hires or selects new well-skilled employees for the training job roles then the company easily provides the best quality services to the customer according to their demands.

  1. b) Updated Work breakdown structure
S.no Tasks Timeframes Dependencies

  2. Leadership style

A leadership style that will be used for the project considering all the changes of the project that has been determined in the online fitness gym is the Participative Leadership Style, in which opinions of all the instructors and members will be taken and implemented their opinions so that they think that their opinions are taken in consideration as well as implemented in the online fitness gym project to make the gym successfully working online, as well as ensuring that risks will be minimized in the project (Islam, et al., 2018).

Assumptions that this leadership style is perfect because it enhances the collaboration among all the instructors and they will work collaboratively to train their clients, and it leads to an increase in customer satisfaction as well as client retention rate. A participative leadership style that will be used in the online fitness gym will increase the morale among all the clients and instructors to achieve their fitness goals as well as instructors will provide the training adequately (Islam, et al., 2018).

The participative leadership style also decreases the competition among all the instructors as they have one goal to achieve the online fitness gym objectives of the organization. The participative leadership style has to ensure to all the instructors in the online fitness gym will perform better as they are working collaboratively, and they are committed to achieving the goals and objectives of the online fitness gym while operating online and providing the training to all the instructors so that their performance will be improved. It leads to an increase in customer retention rate and customer satisfaction. This is the reason that the participative leadership style will be selected by the online fitness gym.

  1. Ethical Issues
  2. One potential conflict among them – Timings are not fixed by the instructors that at what time they are providing the fitness training, they only give the notification a few minutes ago which leads to missing the fitness sessions by the members and it leads to their loss, which they do not prefer by them mostly. It leads to conflicts between the instructors and members and increases the client turnover rate, which ultimately results in the performance of all the objectives of the organization. The objectives and outcomes that are needed to achieve will also be impacted (Afreen, et al., 2021).
  3. One Specific Ethical Issue – Specific Ethical Issue is that new instructors who have been hired by the online fitness gym for providing the fitness training are not the professionally competent as well as they are not maintaining the quality of their fitness training, and they have not the proper skills to train their members and clients so that satisfaction rate will also be increased. Another issue is that confidentiality has not been maintained and the confidential information of the members and clients has been leaked which leads to an increase in the client turnover rate and they are not trusting the online fitness gym, information including their health has been leaked.
  4. Specific Project Management Risk – Specific Project management risk is that resources have not been allocated to the staff members and instructors and not taken the feedback from the staff members on time, which leads to an increase in the client turnover rate. Project Management has not been properly done due to resources not being allocated and it leads to an increase in the overall usage of the resources as well as underutilization of resources reported in the online fitness gym. Underutilization of resources is not acceptable because it increases the overall costs of the project online fitness gym and is not able to recover the losses.
  5. One Specific Project Risk – Specific Project Risk is that timeframe has not been achieved and it leads to an increase in the overall costs as well as the overall time of the project. Specific Project risks will overall increase the costs of the online fitness gym, also if the goals are not achieved including the fitness goals of the members who have taken the membership are not able to achieve and they are not getting their figure what they want, so it leads to client turnover rate in the online fitness gym, and it overall affecting the project management (Naumenkova, et al., 2020).
  6. One Major Opportunity that will bring success to the Project – Major opportunity that will bring success to the project is that online training has been given and it leads to a decrease in the overall costs of the project. Feedback will be taken from customers and it will improve the customer satisfaction and it will bring more customers as well, so this is the opportunity for the project that will increase the revenue generation of the project, and then more investors will be attracted to the project who are ready to invest in the project so that better technology will be used for conducting the online sessions. It will improve the overall performance of the project of an online fitness gym (Naumenkova, et al., 2020).
